On August 8, 2023

The culture center of Hawaiian culture, Old Lahaina Town on West Maui burn down to the ground.

11,000 residents, their homes, banks, vets, doctors offices, churches, bodegas, parks, shops and restaurants, all gone

Blessings for the project.
Superyacht sails can cover lots of units.
  • 2,170 acres were scorched
  • 2200 homes, apartment buildings or structures were destroyed.
  • At least 99 people were killed in the fire.
  • It is said to be the deadliest natural disaster in Hawaii history.
  • Today, 2700 families are still without a stable housing solution.

What is left is more than a natural disaster, it is a community disaster. Everything is at stake as locals feud over water, land and where to move the toxic ash.

Fire on an island is different than fire on the mainland. Families cannot as easily move or start over. The displacement of history and culture are at stake as the months roll by.

On February 3, a team of volunteers arrived to help us deconstruct sails for fabrication of shade solutions for a number of projects spinning up on Maui. Stay tuned for updates!

Some of our solutions are as simple as providing shade.

We are working on custom solutions for various temporary and/or tiny home solutions.

Our material is perfect to help extend the vitality of these new by creating shade for a lanai, car ports, city parks and healing centers.

Some of our solutions are being designed to cover and insulate the various tiny home solutions. You can’t believe what a difference shade can make in the quality of life of these units.

We expect to be supporting efforts to restore community on Lahaina for as long as it takes.
